Meet the Founder:
Shawn Belanger
Our story began more than 13 years ago, when I first stepped into the construction industry and quickly discovered a passion for building things the right way. Over the years, I gained broad experience across carpentry, framing, finishing, concrete forming and both residential and commercial environments. I then earned my Red Seal in carpentry, a nationally recognized certification that reflects advanced training and high-level craftsmanship.

After working on everything from home renovations to large commercial facilities, I saw an opportunity to bring a more honest, reliable and straightforward approach to general contracting. That vision led to the creation of SLB Contracting.

Today, we continue to operate with the same core principles: show up when we say we will, communicate clearly, take pride in our craftsmanship and treat every project like it’s our own. These values guide everything we do and are the reason clients trust us with their homes and commercial spaces.
